Compagnie Barks is the contemporary troupe around French circus artist Bastien Dausse that grew out of a desire to play with gravity. The circus company has toured all over Europe, including the renowned Avignon theater festival. The centerpiece of Dausse's performances are machines with which he challenges gravity and unbalances his performers. During The Sound of C, C-mine presents an overview of these fascinating devices and invites live musicians to enter into dialogue with the circus artists at the same time.
