Scotland's Brìghde Chaimbeul is the purveyor of Celtic music and of Scottish smallpipes, a bellows-driven set of bagpipes with a double undertone. The completely unique way she devised to arrange this music highlights the rich sound of the trance-like drones. Chaimbeul's mesmerizing musicality has earned her international recognition: she has already garnered a BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and a BBC Radio 2 Horizon Award, and in 2021 she performed for world leaders at the opening ceremony of COP 26, the climate conference.
