Route & parking

C-mine is easy to reach, both by car and public transport. Check out the floor plan or print out the directions and parking suggestions.

*Due to renovation work on the shaft towers, the square is temporarily closed to the public. Don’t worry: the visitor center and all of our activities remain accessible. You’ll have to take a few small detours here and there, so please allow for a little extra walking time.

C-mine is located near an exit on the E314 motorway. At the lights immediately after the exit, turn left. The pit towers will come into view on your right.

Public transportation

Several bus lines leave from Genk station to C-mine: lines 31, 80, 3. You can consult the timetables of these bus lines on the website of De Lijn.

 

Parking

C-mine has 4 car parks, adding up to more than 1,000 free parking spaces. Find a parking space closest to where you need to be on the site.

Car sharing

The City of Genk is working with Cambio Car Sharing to promote sustainable mobility in Genk. Two shared cars are available at the C-mine site, located on Wilde Kastanjelaan. 

 

Cycling

C-mine is easily accessible by bicycle. There is a covered bicycle parking facility on site (in Parking 1).

 

Bicycle sharing with Hoppy

Electric Hoppy shared bicycles are available throughout Genk.
The electric bicycle makes it easy to get from point A to point B in Genk.
