“Limburg is our stage, the whole world is our audience”. That’s the B-classic slogan. B-classic aims to give classical music a place in today’s society.

Throughout the year, they stage several concerts in C-mine, including ‘Het concept van Thomas’, culminating in the B-classic Festival.

The theatre company for the cities of Genk, Hasselt and Leuven vouches for high-quality theatre productions, music, texts, audio and debate. This artist-run theatre house helps to shape the city and the society of tomorrow. With the city as its vantage point, Het nieuwstedelijk takes aim at the rest of the world. The company is artist-in-residence at C-mine, where they perform all of their productions and also work on specific projects.

Passerelle provides guidance and encouragement for children and young people to develop artistically and personally through the medium of dance, movement, expression and performance.

To this end, Passerelle offers workshops and projects throughout Flanders, both at school and outside school hours.

CIAP is a Limburg-based organisation that relocated to C-mine in 2020. It creates space for contemporary art, by inviting artists, curators, researchers and local residents to participate in projects that deal with larger contemporary themes: What are the energy sources of the future? How will we relate to the natural world?

Architectuurwijzer is an organisation for cultural architecture that pays close attention to the dynamics of our society. Architectuurwijzer is totally convinced that high-quality architecture can have a positive impact on our society.

While rooted in Limburg, the organisation keeps its eyes open for what’s happening in the world outside the provincial confines.

C-TAKT provides artists with the space and freedom they need to shape their ideas. For example, by stimulating creative processes, mainly within the transdisciplinary arts and for young talent. Come sample that young talent during the C-TAKT Festivals.

Compagnie Tartaren is een sociaal-artistiek theatergezelschap, met werkplaatsen in Genk en Leuven en maakt vanuit co-creatie met kwetsbare en professionele makers kwalitatieve theatervoorstellingen. Met haar werking wil Compagnie Tartaren ruimte geven aan stemmen die weinig gehoord worden. 

STORMOPKOMST verbreedt het begrip wat kunst voor kinderen kan zijn met een focus op beeldende kunst, performance, installaties en multidisciplinair werk. Jaarlijks zorgt de samenwerking met C-mine voor een unieke familiedag vol kunst. 

Het productiehuis fABULEUS geeft vorm aan verschillende soorten podiumkunsten: performance, dans, circus en (tekst) theater. in de werking van fABULEUS staat de artistieke samenwerking tusssen jong talent en ervaren makers centraal.

Kunst in Zicht ontwikkelt actieve kunsteducatieve projecten. In een inspirerende en sterke leeromgeving beleven kinderen, jongeren en hun begeleiders creatieve processen die heel wat gelijkenissen en eigenschappen vertonen met die van kunstenaars.

Deze kunstorganisatie focust vooral op de ontwikkeling van beeldende en transdisciplinaire performancekunstenaars. Met locaties in Genk en Hasselt bieden ze, elk jaar, werkruimte aan meer dan 40 beloftevolle kunstenaars.

AFF heeft een groot hart voor opkomend (inter)nationaal muzikaal talent. Het bekendste uithangbord is het AFF-festival dat dit jaar doorgaat op de C-mine site. 

'Nuff Said werd groot in Antwerpen en vertakte de afgelopen 17 jaar naar podia in Genk, Turnhout, Leuven, Rotterdam en Amsterdam. Je kan op C-mine elke maand terecht op 'Nuff Said voor een nieuwe show, van comedy en hiphop tot jazz en spoken word.

Het open atelier 'The Building' brengt kunstenaars van diverse achtergronden en ervaringsniveaus samen in Genk. Het is een plek waar kruisbestuiving tussen verschillende kunstvormen wordt gestimuleerd. Het doel is niet alleen kunst creëren, maar ook een gemeenschap opbouwen van creatieve geesten.

Samen met Pathé en LUCA School of Arts, brengt C-mine filmliefhebbers samen in de filmclub C-NEMA. Geniet elke maand van een zorgvuldig samengesteld programma met kwaliteitsfilms van over de hele wereld.
