It is an ongoing investigation on my intrest in ruins. I see ruins as a recurring protaganist in my practice, beyond their aesthetic or godlike approach. I see them as a navigational tool for being in the world.
When astrologist look up at the sky, they look for old light, I say “old” because there is no other light for them to observe. As a poet this may sound like looking at 'dead stars'. The parable between arts and dead stars is a way of turning an absence into a presence. I think it appears as a way to make nothing disappear.
